Company History

Calendars

Avalanche Publishing was founded in 1990 and is known today as one of the leading calendar publishers in the United States. Avalanche is perhaps best known for a creative, unique line of calendars known as "Off the Wall" calendars that surpass the standard wall calendar both in innovation and function. This high degree of function is achieved through added features such as pockets, file folders, photo sleeves, magnetic hangers, mini-bulletin boards, stickers, and more. We offer several unique calendar products such as dry erase calendars, magnetic calendars, checkbook organizers, boxed calendars and more.

Gift Books

In 1996, by combining the knowledge gained from six years of publishing calendars with imagination and manufacturing expertise, Avalanche was able to apply that same pioneering spirit to develop and launch a successful gift collection. The first line of gift books was Build a Book of Memories, beautiful keepsake books with storage pockets, fold-out pages, pop-up photo spaces, decorative stickers, and more. Shortly thereafter, Avalanche introduced a line of clever, guided journals called Notable Journals. Avalanche continues to add more Notable Journals each year, each with exceptional style and value, packed with extra touches not found elsewhere. The innovation of our writing journals, blank journals and notebook journals is unsurpassed.

Gift Stationery

In spring 2003, Avalanche introduced its first line of gift stationery with three beautiful and distinct collections. Each season since, we have introduced fresh, new gift stationery products.
